[Not Christmas day, but Christmas Eve, Arden will find a pumpkin pie in front of his door. As well as a special baking spoon and . The box is special and makes sure it stays warm. Attached is a note.]

[She asked as she put on her apron, her animal friends tying it in the back as she gently touched up her hair.]

And you're quite welcome! I know we talked all about baking memories.

It actually came up again when Machina moved in. Well, I guess he moved in while I was frozen, but when I first met him.

[He looks all around Sweetie Pies at the countertops that will soon be dirtied with their efforts to make delicious things.]

He was surprised when I offered to make a favorite meal for him as a Welcome present. And... yeah, I definitely enjoyed this Christmas more than last year. How about for you?

Oh! Isn't Machina just the sweetest! He comes by to the bakery all the time, and he doesn't even like sweets! [She's completely oblivious that he comes for her.]

I had a wonderful Christmas, I spent it with Apple and everyone at the house, and then, of course, there was the party at Cloud and Auron's home, that was simply wonderful!

It's one of the best Christmases I've had in a very long time.

Ah... yeah he's a nice guy.

[He of course can't go so far as to say 'sweet' and his bar was amazingly low for Machina, but yeah, Arden's on good terms with him.]

Oh, right, Apple too? That's great - I remember you two didn't have a great start here in Verens, so I'm glad you're getting along so well now.

[Very honest there, especially after his... not exactly fight, but confusion recently.]

I hope it's okay that I brought your gift here rather than to your house on the day.

Well, it's still a bumpy road, but what mother and daughter relationship isn't? [Especially when her daughter thinks she's literally perfect, apparently.] But I'm very glad for it too.
