So? Same here. My buds are the best fighters of in the-- my world. Doesn't stop me from fighting. Sometimes they need help, and maybe you're the only one who can help 'em. The more comrades, the better!

Why not? Keeping you close and on their side is better than pushing you away and making sure you wouldn't wanna fight for them. Or they could just be really forgiving people, which is good for you, but isn't really that smart in the long run.
